The Exeter Area Voluntary Car Service is currently suspended due to lack of drivers but would cover the city and surrounding countryside and bring people from places including Broadclyst, Exminster, Kenn & Kennford, Starcross, Shillingford and Tedburn to Exeter Hospitals for medical appointments.

Charges for the service are based on mileage covered, with a minimum charge of £6.00 within the city for a return journey.

All transport is provided by local volunteers using their own vehicles and the charges made are used to reimburse them for their vehicle costs.

This service is operated on a charitable basis (Charity Number 1082544) and is part funded by donations from individuals.
