The
Seaton District Voluntary Car Service
covers a large area surrounding Seaton and brings
people from villages including Axmouth, Beer, Branscombe,
Colyford, Colyton, Farway, Musbury, Northleigh, Shute
and Whitford into Seaton for medical appointments
at the Seaton Hospital, local doctors surgeries, opticians,
dentists and chiropodists. Transport is also provided
for appointments elsewhere including Axminster, Dorchester,

for wheelchairs and people unable to get into a car
can also be arranged using our Seaton based specially
adapted vehicle.

for the Voluntary Car Service are based on mileage
covered, with a minimum charge of £3.00 within
Seaton for a return journey.
All
transport is provided by local volunteers using their
own vehicles and the charges made are used to reimburse
them for their vehicle costs.
