Launch of Volunteer 4 All

Today marks the launch of our all-new Volunteer 4 All service. Over the next week, we have 4 Open Days at our new office (122 High Street, Honiton)

Volunteer 4 All is an extension of the work TRIP has undertaken during the pandemic in recruiting, supporting and promoting the value of the wonderful work that volunteers do every day in our communities.

The main aim of the project is to encourage and promote engagement within the community by focusing on the strengths of our community populations whose skills have yet to be unearthed or utilised. The project seeks to engage with prospective volunteers and organisations alike to provide an important link between them.

The project can help:

  • Match volunteer’s skills and interests to opportunities
  • Provide general training to help people volunteer
  • Offer ongoing support with training and wellbeing to ensure the voluntary role continues to benefit both the volunteer and organisation

The team are also planning a  Craft Fair on 28th May. A chance to meet other volunteers, enjoy a bacon butty, buy some craft whilst supporting other community groups and raising funds for Operation Rudolph.

We believe the results of this project will prove invaluable to our communities across East Devon. We are determined to showcase that there are opportunities which exist that can provide a much-needed boost to the wellbeing of our local communities.
